There are seven parish councillors and the council meets on the first Monday of each month (excluding Bank Holidays). The Council considers any matters relating to the parish. All Council meetings are open to the public and include a “Public Forum” at the start of each meeting.

                About Oakamoor

                Oakamoor village is a small rural village situated in north Staffordshire. Although it is now a rural area, it has an industrial past which drew on the natural resources of the Churnet valley. Iron was smelted from medieval times and Copper and lumber were also important to the local economy.
